Leather is alive. One simple rule:
Treat it as you would treat your own skin.

How to care for your motorcycle leather!

Clean the exterior with a damp cloth (mild solution from shower gel or dishwashing detergent)
Do not launder. For dry-cleaning, use only experienced specialists.
WARNING: DO NOT USE BENZINE, TURPENTINE, or SPOT REMOVER.
Clean inside (odor or dirt) with dry foam
Inspect the surface for crash damage or damage to the protectors.
If there is no tangible damage to the Erbo protectors, you do not need to replace them after a crash.

After riding in the rain, do not dry the leather in the sun or over a heater! The leather might dry first on the outside, but the lining can still be damp. Turn garment inside out if necessary. Hang dry on a clothes hanger and store at a warm location over the winter.

Dressing:
- Apply a thin layer of wax polish (we recommend the proven ERBO Lederfett product)
- Spray special leather sprays sparingly
- Treat areas where the color has been scraped off with lightly tinted polish
- We do not recommend shoe polish or all-purpose waterproofing sprays
